Service Team Lead
I have been working as an insurance broker both abroad and in Canada since 2010. Throughout my 12 years of experience, I developed a very good understanding of the various types of insurance coverages your business needs.
My specialty is Property and Casualty Insurance in General, and could cater to the needs of contractors of all shapes, types, and sizes.
My approach was always and still is that insurance is not a shelf product. Every business is unique and deserves to have a tailored policy. Each type of operation has different risk factors/exposures and therefore deserves certain coverages, specific limits, policy extensions etc.
Throughout the years, I have assisted many clients in achieving optimal coverage that suits their needs, as well as significantly reducing their premiums and bringing it down to the reasonable market average.
Directors and Officers: D&O, or also called Management Liability Insurance. It basically covers the directors / officers of the company from any Liability arising out of mismanagement or wrongful acts committed by the officers as per capacity. Lawsuits could be from anyone who was affected by these wrongful acts such as employees, investors or shareholders, competitors, customers, etc…
Commercial General Liability: Commercial general liability insurance protects the business and its owners against Liability arising out of bodily or personal injuries, advertising liability, as well as property damage to third parties arising from your operations or products or occurring on your business premises. The policy could also include Employers liability which is a type of business insurance that covers employers for liability to employees that suffer from work-related injuries or diseases.
Professional liability insurance, also known as Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance, protects businesses against charges of negligence or harm, based on a professional service or advice that you provided to your client. If and when a client suffers a financial loss because of your professional services or feels that you failed to meet their expectations, they could serve you with a lawsuit.
Commercial Property: As the name implies, this policy would cover the building, including all fixtures and fittings. As well as, the contents within. If the building a profit generating center, one can also add Business interruption or loss of profit to such a policy. Which will cover profits lost after an incident until repairs are done and that property is operations again.
