I have over 40 years of business experience. Moving from a restaurant owner for 10 years to operating a charity fundraising company for 15 years which raised over $10,000,000 for a wide variety of charities across Canada. From there I transitioned in the construction industry as owner operator of a multimillion-dollar commercial roofing company.
About 9 years ago Ai Insurance Founder Don Miller and the bonding brokerage for my roofing company approached me about becoming part of Ai Insurance and the rest is now history after the past 6 years.
Having been a contractor I am aggressively protective of my clients as I have walked in their “work boots” so my focus is to help them in any way possible not just with their insurance needs.
With a unique background as a former bonded construction company owner/operator for many years I specialize in working with contractors in the areas of bonding, commercial general liability, builder’s risk, errors and omissions and legal expense. I work in all areas of construction industry, but I am specialized in roofing contractors simply because I understand their businesses.

Over the years particularly when I ran specialty fundraising events I was presented with many awards for my service to Canadian Charities. I am proud of the work I have done for these organizations that need assistance and funding to keep their programs alive.
My current charitable project involves an attempt at a Guinness World Record for “The Fastest Round of Golf by a Team”. It is a unique record attempt, but the primary goal is raising funds, awareness and a truck load of food for our local New Tecumseth, Innisfil and Bradford Food Banks.
I am an avid golfer and fisherman and I enjoy scuba diving and spearfishing in places like Mexico, Belize, Columbia and Peru.
