Account Executive
With over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, I specialize in Surety Bonding, Engineering, and Complex Risks. My client-focused approach is dedicated to building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. I strive to continuously adapt my skills and personal development to meet my clients’ evolving needs.
Driven by curiosity and a genuine desire for ongoing self-improvement, I aim to enhance the value we provide to our clients, colleagues, and the organization. My career has been characterized by applying my expertise in Financial Analysis to years of underwriting experience, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of risk management and insurance solutions.
I am committed to grasping the strategic objectives of the company by gaining insight into the roles and processes of various departments. I assess how these departments are evaluated and how their performance impacts interactions with other areas of the organization. This holistic understanding allows me to contribute effectively to the company’s overall success and foster a collaborative work environment.
I possess extensive experience in managing a diverse range of risks, including Builders Risks, Errors and Omissions, Hospitality, Construction, and Surety risks. I have also successfully managed Affinity Marketing programs for Engineers, Lawyers, and Accountants at TD Insurance. My core competencies in financial analysis and econometric market research enable me to add significant value to any organization I am part of.
My Economics degree from the University of Western Ontario has provided me with a strong foundation in the economy, focusing on statistical and financial analysis. Additionally, my coursework in Actuarial Science, including mathematics of finance and economic security, has equipped me with practical skills in capital budgeting, accounting, and insurance products. The Canadian Securities Course further expanded my knowledge of the securities industry’s operations.
